Families of patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) often experience high levels of anxiety due to critical patient conditions and limited access to information. To improve communication and service quality, RSUD R. Syamsudin S.H. implemented an innovation known as the Latest ICU Patient Information Service (LASMINI). This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of LASMINI in reducing family anxiety and improving family satisfaction. A quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design was conducted involving 17 family members of ICU patients. Anxiety levels were measured using the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale, while family satisfaction was assessed using an ICU family satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The findings showed a significant reduction in family anxiety levels (p=0.002) and a significant increase in family satisfaction (p=0.001) after the implementation of LASMINI. LASMINI is effective in reducing anxiety and improving satisfaction among families of ICU patients and may be integrated into family-centered nursing care in hospital settings.
