A quasi-experimental study (one group pretest-posttest) was conducted on 141 respondents selected via judgmental sampling. The intervention included structured education and WhatsApp-based monitoring. Data were analyzed using statistical tests (alpha = 0.05). There was a significant decrease in the heavy IDWG category (> 6%) from 64.7% to 41.2% (p-value 0.034). Patient knowledge also improved significantly from 99.27% to 100% (p-value 0.000). Moderate and light IDWG categories showed notable clinical improvement trends.
